When is a portrait not a headshot?

Editorial style portraits of business people for magazines and promotion.

Sometimes you need portraits that are more than just a hedshot. We need images that sit more comfortably in promotional material and magazines for instance so they could have more space showing their suroundings, working with the environment of an office or a given location. Sometimes you want to create more ‘heroic style’ portraiture that elevates the people and the imagery. The editorial images can be looser and perhaps more relaxed.

Business portraits thats are more human and show the people as they are can be such a standout for companies and specific individuals. When people view the images, they to feel like they know you that you could be someone they want to get to know and perhaps works with.
