Group Portraits in London
Group photography can be tricky and needs a little organisation and co operation. Often a client tags, “could you do a quick group shot of the whole team" at the end of a job thinking its just something to be done quickly with a few minutes. Ideally you want to plan for it and allow a good chunk of time to set up and light as well as to jiggle people around.
Large group shots you will want to make sure you can see everyone and ideally have people on different levels so it isn’t just one line up. Leaning and sitting can create a nice relaxed feel and work well for the composition to. The groups below are a little smaller but you get the general idea.
Both locations for the shoot below were very considered by the clients involved. The one on the top was shot in a Jaks in Chelsea which has some nice urban shabby chic areas which Kate the CEO liked. The one below was shot in the boardroom of the National Royal Geographic Society which one of the clients was a member of.
